公司背景

方正環球科技有限公司（簡稱方正環科）成立於2004年，是中國聲譽卓越的北大方正集團屬下的關聯公司，及馬來西亞旗下的附屬公司。馬來西亞方正是也是當地MESDAQ上市的科技公司。

方正環科充分利用了方正的核心技術研究成果如電子出版、數碼版權管理、數碼掃描、電子圖書館及生物辨識等技術，進行二次開發，推出各類資訊科技產品和服務配套，以符合大中華地區包括中國南部、香港、澳門、臺灣等區域客戶的需求。

產品、方案和服務

電子出版系統

方正環科成功地在香港，北美和臺灣地區完成了幾個大的報業系统集成項目如聯合報系集團、明報集團及星島新聞集團等。在電子出版系統領域，方正系列產品，從前端的排版(FIT)、廣告預訂及制作管理(AdvM)、新聞採編流程管理(EWM)、數碼資產管理(DAM)到後端的激光照排系統(CTF)和電腦直接制版系统(CTP)等，高度的實現了報業自動化的日常作業。而方正的新聞採編流程管理也進一步延伸，從印刷媒體，跨入了電子廣播領域，並順利完成香港亞洲電視(ATV)的專案。至今，方正環科仍是本區域擁有強大的客戶群，以及是僅有的數個知名、有能力承接媒體專案的媒體系統供應商之一。

電子圖書館系統

基於北大方正的電子書加密技術平臺，以及數量超過21萬冊的電子書(e-Book)（擁有電子版權），方正環科開發了一套電子圖書館系統，整合成一個龐大的電子書庫提供給學校、學院、大學及企業用戶使用。此電子圖書館系統採取用戶導向的開放平臺，讓企業和教育界用戶可以自主設計門戶介面並加入自身特徵的元素。從市場反應顯示，方正環科具有前瞻性思維的電子圖書館系統在今天資訊社會推崇網上學習的觀念的推動下，正逐步得到廣泛的關注。

指紋辨識系統

生物辨識系統在考勤、門禁及數碼資產保護領域的應用成為市場新寵，而方正環科在此領域正在加強FingerTec在本區域市場的佔有額。FingerTec產品及商標皆屬馬來西亞方正擁有，是國際上知名的指紋產品品牌。FingerTec產品盛名遠播，主要是產品建立在優秀的核心指紋比對技術、多國語文及完善的考勤門禁軟體TCMS V2、完善的自學VCD及分銷商的網上支援服務系統的整體架構上。FingerTec成功的轉換了高深莫測的高科技系統成為一般人都容易自學上手並能自行安裝的產品。而這個產品在短短18個月也成功地打入全球50多個國家。

除了以上所述的自主產品，方正環科也與一些國外軟體和硬體廠商建立策略夥伴關係，在部分或整體大中華地區代理他們的產品。

1、Kodak Leaf（美國）：Kodak Leaf為高檔專業用數碼相機，方正環科為香港、澳門、臺灣等區域總代理。

2、Lenspen （加拿大）：獨家在香港、澳門、臺灣等區域總代理各種光學讀頭或鏡頭產品的清理工具。

3、金山詞霸2006 （中國）：獨家在香港、澳門、臺灣等區域總代理金山詞霸產品。此產品的用戶全球超過2千萬。

4、金山毒霸2007 （中國）：獨家在香港、澳門、臺灣等區域總代理。

Company Background

Founder GlobalTech Limited (FGT), one of affiliate members of the renowned ICT conglomerate, Peking University Founder Group of China, was founded in 2004 through business expansion of Founder Malaysia, PUC Founder (MSC) Berhad, a public listed company on MESDAQ Board in Bursa Malaysia.

FGT is providing a wide range of information technology products, solutions and services leveraged on a cluster of Founder’s electronic publishing technology, DRM technology, digital imaging technology, Apabi e-Book technology and biometrics technology. Products, Solutions and Services

For electronic publishing system, FGT has secured some prominent print media accounts in both Taiwan and Hong Kong, which includes some of the bigger names such as United Daily News, Ming Pao, and Sing Tao. A total solution from front end pagination, advertisement management, editorial workflow management, digital asset management to the backend image-setting system are installed and adopted for their daily operations. The editorial workflow solution later on is being extended to the electronic media, which has been successfully implemented in Asia TV in Hong Kong. Thus far, FGT is still one of the only few reputable media solution providers to these regions, maintaining a large base of clientele.

For e-library system, FGT is deploying the proprietary Founder Apabi e-book secured encryption technology and a collection of over 20,000 copyrighted Chinese E-Book titles, integrated with its in-house developed e-Library system and served as an online knowledge reservoir offers to schools, colleges, universities and enterprises. The e-library system is designed to have a friendly user-interface feature where corporate customers and education institutions are allowed to customize the pages and to incorporate with their own identity and personalized elements. The market respond shows that the pioneering FGT e-library system starts to gain its popularity in today’s Information Age that strongly promoting the e-learning concepts.

For the emerging Biometrics system, FGT plays an important role to enhance the market presence and enlarge the FingerTec market share in this region in three different industries namely time and attendance, door access control and digital asset safeguarding. FingerTec, a brand name and products owned solely by PUC Founder (MSC) Bhd, is a recognized name worldwide. FingerTec is powered by the-state-of-the-art matching algorithm, multilingual and comprehensive TCMS V2 application software, Do-it-yourself (DIY) video guide and online reseller support system, has successfully transformed itself from the once hi-tech niche system into an off-the-shelves product that has penetrated into over 50 countries within 18 months.
